Review: Brainwave Journey

this fantastic CD set by Dr. Jeffrey Thompson called
Brainwave Journey (no relation to this website), and the four
CDs have become some of my all-time favorite CDs.
This guy is a trip! He has put together a sound experience
that is the closest thing I have ever found to a real
 mind-altering experience using only audio.
Here are the four CDs:
Journey of the Mind, which includes
Theta brain waves -- a pattern experienced during the dream
state -- and low Alpha waves, associated with a relaxed
mind.
I just listened to this one again last night. Wow! It is
awesome! You feel yourself "floating in the light," you feel
buoyant, drifting off into space, going deeper and deeper into
this magical world inside your head. :-)
Journey of the Body -- Deeply relaxing Delta
waveforms and low-frequency tones and "primal life-pulses" that
mirror the rhythms of brainwaves and heartbeats in a beautiful
musical "massage."
Journey of the Heart, which includes Theta waves
again, with natural ocean and wind sounds that stimulate
imagination.
Journey of the Spirit -- Lush instrumentation carries
you away into an "awakened mind" brainwave pattern experienced
by yogis in deep meditation.
These CDs are incredibly mind-expanding and ethereal, and
take you to places both beautiful and mysterious. In some
parts, you're actually guided by a voice that sometimes is
above you, then below you, then behind you, then swirling
around in space. It's a high-tech journey through your inner
world. I've never heard anything like them.
I highly recommend ALL of Dr. Jeffrey Thompson's
material. He has an amazing gift for creating audio CDs that
really take you to a whole other place in your head. It really
is like taking a wonderful, soothing, very interesting and
mysterious journey.
